2 Timothy 2:24 states, “A servant of the Lord must not argue. Instead, he must be kind to everyone, teachable, willing to suffer wrong.”

As servants of the Lord, we find this truth difficult to accept so we resist it because we have not died to ourselves. We are not dead to our rights, our good name, recognition, our desire to be thanked as well as many other reasons.

Our response to this problem, which lies deep in our hearts, is one of questioning God, instead of letting go of those “rights”. What we should do is ask the Lord to show us what He sees in our hearts!
