| Smoky Marinated Octopus |

Cooking time: 20 Ingredients: 1 kg baby octopus tentacles 125 ml olive oil 22.50 ml lemon juice 1 lemon thinly sliced peel of 1 lemon 1 onion finely chopped onion 2 cloves sliced garlic 5 ml smoked Spanish paprika 1 bay leaf 125 ml cider vinegar 125 ml white wine vinegar 5 ml milled pepper 24 Chunks of bread (to serve) Method: Wash baby octopus tentacles (smaller regular tentacles) really well. Heat olive oil, lemon juice and the thinly sliced peel of lemon in a pot. Add tentacles, and poach for 4 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. Add chopped onion and sliced garlic and cook in oil and lemon mixture until soft, but not brown. Add smoked Spanish paprika, 1 bay leaf, cider vinegar, white wine vinegar, and milled pepper, and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
