Mich’s Dishes – Panko Crumbed Calamari

Michelle from Robberg prepared her delectable Panko Crumbed Calamari for us recently. All the ingredients and the method are shown below, or you can follow along while you watch the video. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
- 800g calamari strips
- 2kg panko crumbs
- Fish spice
- 4 eggs (whisked)
- 1 cup flour
- Pot of cooking oil

Panko Crumbed Calamari ingredients
INSTRUCTIONS
- Season the panko crumbs with the fish spice.
- Dust the calamari with the flour.
- Dip into the egg.
- Coat calamari strips with the panko crumbs.
- Let it rest for 20 min.
- Deep fry in a pot of hot oil for 2 min.
- Serve with tartare sauce.
