Robberg staff enjoy a day of Pickleball, fun, and recognition

On Friday, 27 November 2024, the Robberg Fine Foods team enjoyed a vibrant day of pickleball and camaraderie at the scenic Down to Earth Restaurant, nestled along the banks of the picturesque Bitou River. The sunny, clear weather with minimal wind provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with laughter, team spirit, and light-hearted competition.
Pickleball, a fast-growing sport that’s often described as a miniature version of tennis, was the centerpiece of the morning’s activities. With two courts available, staff had the chance to engage in both serious matches and relaxed, playful games, making it an enjoyable experience for players of all skill levels. The mix of energy and excitement fostered a great sense of teamwork and connection among colleagues.
After the games, the team gathered in the events venue for a well-deserved lunch. The meal was followed by a long-service awards ceremony, where Robberg acknowledged and celebrated the dedication and contributions of its long-standing staff members.
